Collecting Reviews

Collecting Reviews

A review is super important for both the consumer and the business. But how can a business collect reviews in an easy way and how can consumers benefit from them? This almost invisible but hugely important collaboration between consumers and businesses is of great importance to each nowadays. We will tell you in this blog how to collect reviews as easily as possible!

Different review platforms

First of all, where do you get the reviews? To receive reviews you need to register the business on several platforms so that consumers can find it for themselves. What platforms are there you are probably asking yourself. Plenty, think Google reviews, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot, Kiyoh, customer tell, trusted shops and so on. To give your customers as much transparency as possible, it is good to sign up on several platforms.

Obtaining reviews

Now that you are registered on certain platforms as a business, the next step is to collect as many (positive) reviews as possible. But how? The first step, which is often the best opportunity, when selling in-store or online is to ask your customer to leave a review. This can be done, for example, by giving a card or including it in the order.

Furthermore, you can send an e-mail as soon as a customer has made a purchase. This can be easily automated with various marketing automation software. This also allows you to easily dive into email marketing, which in turn is great as an extension to your marketing plan.

Helpful tips & tricks

Large companies encourage customers to do a review through means of promotions. You can read more about the "value of a review" in our previous blog post . This also highlights nicely how large companies focus on collecting reviews.

Many review platforms have the option that you can add average scores to your website. Again, this gives the visitor more confidence to make a purchase what it is all about in the end.
